The Boston Center for the Arts presents: Movement at the Mills
Friday April 30 at 6:00pm & 7:30pm Boston Center for the Arts Mills Gallery 551 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02116 Free and open to the public An exhibition of movement by three prominent Boston dance companies, featuring: Weber Dance, Sun Ho Kim & Dancers, and Kendra Heithoff Performances occur on three stages simultaneously. | Critical Analysis and Dance - Let’s Talk Some More! Green Street Studios Center for Movement and Dance 185 Green Street, Central Square For more information or to register call 617 864-3191 Suggested Donation $10 Tuesday November 14 from 7:30-9:30 This second evening of dance discussion will explore works by David Gordon and Ulysses Dove. These choreographers offer fascinating contrasts in approach and style. If you are interested in building your skills of critical analysis, deepening you awareness of choreographic structure, and discovering ways of talking about dance that are useful and revealing, then join us on Tuesday night from 7:30-9:30. The course will explore and interactive observation based approach to analysis. Dr. Jody Weber will facilitate discussion and all proceeds benefit Green Street Studios . |
